During his visit to Helmand province, the Minister of Higher Education, Mawlawi Nida Mohammad Nadeem, addressed officials and lecturers at Helmand University.
Speaking in the university’s conference hall, Minister Nadeem commended the recent progress made at Helmand University and expressed satisfaction with the dedication and hard work of its leadership and staff.
He reaffirmed that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) remains committed to fulfilling its promises, particularly in the academic sector.
Mister Nadeem announced that, in addition to the existing master’s and doctoral programs, new higher education programs will soon be launched across various regions of Afghanistan, helping the country achieve greater self-sufficiency in academic development.
The minister further noted that the Ministry of Higher Education, with the support of Afghan scholars and university professors, has successfully standardized course materials and the education system in accordance with Islamic and Afghan traditions, as well as the demands of the job market. He urged professors to continue their efforts in providing quality education to Afghan youth.
At the event, the President of Helmand University, Shaikh Al-Hadith Mufti Mohammad Sharifullah Abu Ahmad, expressed his gratitude for the Minister’s visit and warmly welcomed him to the university.
