The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it had summoned the Chargé d’Affaires of the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul following the violation of Afghanistan’s airspace and the bombing of civilian homes in the provinces of Khost, Paktika, and Kunar. The ministry conveyed its strong and unequivocal protest to the diplomat.
According to the ministry, the air strikes carried out by Pakistan’s military regime last night martyred 11 children, one woman, and one elderly person, while 14 other civilians, including women and children, were injured.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attacks as a “crime against humanity” and a clear violation of international laws and principles, strongly condemning them.
The ministry also emphasized that safeguarding Afghanistan’s territorial integrity and ensuring the security of its people are among its core responsibilities.
