Abdul Rahman Qanet, Deputy Minister of Policy and Programs at the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, has met with Wei Huaxiang, Consul General at the Department of Asian Affairs of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with representatives of the contracting company for the Mes Aynak Copper Project.
During the meeting, Qanet described the Mes Aynak project as significant for both countries and emphasized the need for its prompt operational launch.
He further stated that no obstacles exist to delay the commencement of the project.
