Administrative Deputy Prime Minister Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi and Urban Development and Housing Minister Mawlawi Hamdullah Nomani inaugurated a settlement for returning migrants in the Washir district of Helmand province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi stated that the forced deportation of Afghan refugees by neighboring countries violates all international principles. He added that the services being provided to returnees within the country are progressing well.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Hamdullah Nomani noted that the settlement would be constructed in accordance with the standard principles of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing. He also called on all citizens to fully cooperate with the returnees.
