Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Tuesday, 1446/2/30, which coincides with 1403/6/13, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided with necessary services in different areas.

The report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

23 families returned to the country through Torkham and 135 members of these families have been registered and biometric.

Transportation committee

9 families from Torkham, whose number of members was 45, have been safely transported to Nangarhar and Kabul provinces, and (45,500) Afghani rent has been given to these families.

Finance Management Committee

10,000 Afghanis have been given to 19 families by the Financial Affairs Committee, which makes a total of (164,000) Afghanis.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health were provided to returning refugees in Torkham Omari Camp:

Communications: 52-digit SIM cards, free of charge with free minutes and internet bundles activated, have been distributed to the returnees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Spin Boldak, 24 families with 120 members have returned to the country and have been registered.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (240,000) Afghanis will be given to 24 families by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services, including health, were provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 298 food and water are distributed in the White Boulder.

Health: 351 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Also 120 refugees have been given public awareness in different areas of health.

Clothing: In temporary camps, tents and blankets have been distributed to refugees as needed.

Communication: The Department of Communication Services has distributed 63 number SIM cards to the returned refugees free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

116 families whose members were 484 have returned to the country and registered 1316 travelers have returned to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz province.

Finance Management Committee

39 families have been helped by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee with a total of 490,000 Afghanis.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following services including health were provided to the returning migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze.

Communications: Communications and Information Technology officials have distributed 116 sim cards to the refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the Abrishom way of Nimroz province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Heart

Islam Qala

Accreditation, Registration and Receiving Committee

83 families with 156 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (830,000) Afghanis has been given to 83 families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (246) families and (895) individuals

Deported refugees: (9) families and (45) individuals

Assisted migrants: (165) families

Split SIM cards: (231) digits
