The Cricket Board added, that after the sanctions imposed on them, these players returned to the Afghanistan Cricket Board without any conditions through e-mail in addition, to the request for revision, a full commitment has been made to sign the central contract.
Therefore, the Afghanistan Cricket Board also assigned a task to a committee to access their request, because of which the committee started to evaluate and shared its decision with the leadership of the Afghanistan Cricket Board for the final decision.
The memorandum amended a decision that instead of previously imposed bans, a set of rules would be imposed on memorized players, to avoid similar incidents in the future, but they would be able to sign central contracts and play in a limited number of commercial leagues that It is mentioned in the following three points:
FIRST: Players have been given a final written warning for their actions (from signing a central contract) and the secret is that they will carry a hefty pay.
Second-National duties and administrative benefits will be issued permits or NOCs to play in commercial leagues.
Third- They will be given a central contract in exchange for a full commitment to their best performance and principles.
Mr. Mirwais Ashraf, the general president of Afghanistan Cricket Board, stated that the aforementioned players had previously achieved great achievements and pride for their country, and they are needed in the team; the management has taken this decision and hopes that mentioned players will be in the team.
