The Daily Report of the Committees

The returning of Afghan refugees into their country through numerous Zero Points are taking place, the committees Staff are trying their level best to help & assist the refugees. Below is the conclusive report of the committees officially appointed to accommodate the returnees.

The list & figures of Afghan Returnees who entered from different Zero Points.

The Number of registered Returnees: 116 families with 454 associates.
The Number of Transported Returnees: 33 families with 174 associates.
The primary assistance & help with Returnees: 99 families.
The number of temporary settled Returnees: 140
The Number of Examined & Treated Returnees: 246
The total Number of Distributed Mobile SIM Cards: 375

Nangarhar:

Durand Line (Torkham):

The Committee of Registration, Confirmation & Reception:

The returning 23 families with 64 associates are bio metric & registered.

The Committee for Financial Procedures:

The returning 29 families obtained 290,000 AFN each as their rent payment.

The Committee for Transport:

The returning 20 families with 107 associates are safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul provinces along with 33,000 as their rent payment.

The Temporary Settlement Committee:

The returning 17 families are given temporary shelters and basic necessities of livelihood.

The Committee of Health affairs & Services:

The 650 returnees are given Meals & purified Water in Zero Point Camps, along with 75,000 liters of purified water, Blankets, Carpets, winter Heaters with 27 Packages of raw material are also distributed. The refugees also obtained 138 SIM Cards with free minutes and internet.

The Committee for Job opportunities:

The committee’s staff located 4 High school graduates, 1 having Bachelor’s degree, 2 Memorizers of the Holy Quran, 3 Religious scholars, 43 individuals with minor skills & 9 with professional skills are witnessed, the basic information to 129 Children about Land mines, personal hygiene and Kids safeguard were also given.

The Committee for Information & Public Awareness:

The returning refugees are given information regarding public awareness programs. The refugees are requested to preserve passion, gratitude and tranquilities among themselves, in addition, the IOM organization also distributed 30 pages of refugee’s status papers.

Kandahar:

Spin Boldak:

The Committee of Registration, Confirmation & Reception:

The returning 61 families with 268 associates through Boldak route are registered.

The Committee for Financial Procedures:

The returning 61 families obtained 610,000 AFN each.

The Committee for Transport:

The returning 10 families with 55 associates are Safely transported to Kandahar & Helmand provinces, each family in general obtained 26,000 AFN as their rent payment.

The Temporary Settlement Committee:

The returning 46 families are given temporary shelters and basic necessities of livelihood.

The Committee of Health affairs & Services:

Food: The 700 returning refugees are given Meals.
Medical: 235 individuals are examined and treated, in addition, information regarding public awareness programs to 449 returnees is given.
Technology: The refugees obtained 201 SIM Cards with free minutes & internet.

The Committee for Job opportunities:

The Committee’s Staff located 1 High School Graduate, 1 Graduated from A+ School systems, 2 Memorizers of the Holy Quran, 9 Religious scholars, 91 with Minor skills & 39 with Professional skills are witnessed, in addition, basic information regarding Land mines, Personal hygiene, Kids Safeguard and data about Afghanistan in general is given to 48 Kids, along with 3 missing Kids are returned to their families.

Paktika Province:

Angor Ada Zero Point:

The Committee of Registration, Confirmation & Reception:

The biometric and registration of two families is witnessed.

The Committee for Financial Procedures:

The returning 2 family obtained 20,000 AFN as her rent payment.

The Committee for Transport:

The returning 2 families are safely transported to their relevant districts or villages.

The Temporary Settlement Committee:

The returning six families are given temporary shelters and basic necessities of livelihood.

The Committee for Health Affairs and Services:

Food: The returning 106 individuals are provided food with purified water.
Medical: The returning 11 individuals are examined and treated.
Technology: The returnees obtained 6 Mobile Sim Cards as well.

The Committee for Information & Public Awareness:

The returnees are given information regarding public awareness programs. The returnees are requested to preserve passion, gratitude and tranquilities among themselves.

Nimruz Province:

The Committee of Registration, Confirmation & Reception:

The returning 30 families with 118 associates and others 1,559 individuals with deportees’ status are registered.

The Committee for Financial Procedures:

The returning 7 families obtained 70,000 AFN as their rent payment.

The Temporary Settlement Committee:

The returning 28 families are given temporary shelters and basic necessities of livelihood.

The Committee for Health Affairs and Services:

The returning refugees are given 30 SIM Cards with free minutes and Internet along with, health services to the needy individuals.

The Committee for Information & Public Awareness:

The returning 118 refugees are given information regarding Public Awareness Programs. The returnees are also requested to remain peaceful and preserve tranquility.

Herat Province:

The Temporary Settlement Committee:

The returning 40 families are given temporary shelters and basic necessities of livelihood.

Kabul:

The Transport Committee:

The returning 1 family with 8 associates are safely transported to Kunduz province, with 4000 AFN as rent payment.
