Zakir Jalali, the Second Political Director at Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that alongside reciprocal security and defense measures, active diplomatic efforts are underway to manage the current situation.
On his Facebook page, Jalali noted that discussions were held yesterday with the foreign ministers of friendly and cooperative countries, including Turkey, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, during which Afghanistan’s official position and key facts were presented.
He emphasized that the coordinated efforts of the country’s diplomatic apparatus demonstrate that all legitimate and responsible means are being employed simultaneously to safeguard Afghanistan’s national interests and security.
