Officials from the Ministry of Transport and Aviation state that 27 airports in the country are operational, with their technical affairs being overseen by Afghan engineers.
According to these officials, Afghanistan’s aviation has now achieved standard status.
In the past year, alongside various other developments, large terminals have been constructed in different provinces, including Kabul.
Additionally, the cargo vehicle queue system has been activated, and bases and terminals have been built for passenger vehicles.
Imam Uddin Ahmadi, the ministry’s spokesperson, mentioned that 60 projects will be initiated this year in the field of transport across different provinces.
He also stated that approximately 1,700 individuals have been employed nationwide to regulate road transport, with an additional 200 in Kabul to establish order in the cities.
