Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Friday, 18/11/1446, corresponding to 26/2/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

103 families returned to the country through Torkham and 500 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transportations committee

98 families with 477 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul and (276,600) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1,442,000) Afghanis have been provided to 180 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 409 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

153 families with 811 members returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportations committee

118 families with 624 members were safely transported from Spin Boldak to Kandahar, Helmand, Farah, Herat, Ghazni and Kabul, and (618,500) Afghanis were also paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1242,000) Afghanis have been provided to 149 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 500 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 576 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 229 SIM cards have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Authority, free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

215 families with 973 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 1718 travelers have also returned to the country.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1626,000) Afghanis have been provided to 210 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Health: 298 migrants returning from the Abrishom way have been treated.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, as well as about the country, the Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Paktika

Angoor Ada (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Paktika Angoor Ada, 10 families with 65 members have returned to the country and registered.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

Different services, including health, were provided to the returned refugees at Paktika Angoor Ada.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees at Paktika Angoor Ada. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, as well as about the country, the Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Helmand

Bahramcha (Durand Line)

9 families with 47 members have returned to the country and registered through Bahramcha.

These families have been transferred to their areas and have also been provided with cash assistance.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

249 families with 961 members have returned to the country and registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1,778,000) Afghanis have been provided to 243 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportations committee

189 families with 1725 members from Kabul have been safely transferred to Paktia, Khost, Laghman, Nangarhar, Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, Samangan, Balkh, Badakhshan, Faryab and Sar-e-Pul and (572300) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (352) families and (3310) individuals

Transferred refugees: (405) families and (2826) individuals

Helped refugees: (782) families

Distributed SIM cards: (638) numbers
