Acting Minister of Public Health Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali met with Tajuddin Oyewale to discuss improving healthcare services, expanding facilities in remote areas, and enhancing joint cooperation.
During the meeting, Jalali said strengthening the country’s health system remains a major priority of the Islamic Emirate, emphasizing efforts to ensure fair and effective access to healthcare across Afghanistan.
He also highlighted the important role of international partners in supporting the health sector and called for continued cooperation.
Meanwhile, UNICEF reaffirmed its commitment to providing technical support in maternal and child health, vaccination, nutrition, and emergency healthcare services.
