Mawlawi Gul Hassan “Hassan,” newly appointed Ambassador and Special Representative of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to the Russian Federation, has formally assumed his responsibilities.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, Director of Public Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that during an introductory meeting with the diplomatic staff of the embassy, Ambassador Hassan expressed his firm commitment to fulfilling his duties with dedication and in full cooperation with all personnel.
Takal further noted that the Russian Federation’s official recognition and acceptance of the Afghan ambassador constitutes a significant step toward advancing bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the political, economic, and other key areas of mutual interest.
