A meeting of the Job Search Committee for Returnees was held with the participation of senior officials from the Ministries of Refugee Affairs, Economy, Industry and Trade, Agriculture, and Labor and Social Affairs.
During the session, Deputy Prime Minister Mawlawi Abdul Kabir highlighted the importance of utilizing the skills and expertise of returnees. He urged relevant institutions to enhance vocational training programs and support the continued education of returnees to better integrate them into the workforce.
He also called on the Ministries of Economy, Industry, and Trade to prioritize returnees in their development programs and government contracts.
Minister of Industry and Trade, Nooruddin Azizi, added that his ministry is working on initiatives to support the establishment of small businesses for returnees, aiming to create sustainable employment and economic stability.
