Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Minister of Refugees and Repatriation, stated during an administrative meeting that the Islamic Emirate is committed to providing permanent and lawful housing for returning refugees.
He noted that, in coordination with the United Nations, progress has been made in addressing several challenges faced by Afghan refugees in neighboring countries.
Mawlawi Abdul Kabir also called on ministry officials to prepare for a possible new wave of returnees.
He emphasized that every available opportunity should be effectively utilized to support the development and reconstruction of Afghanistan.
