Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in Islamabad, Mawlawi Sardar Ahmad Shakib.
The Afghan Embassy in Pakistan reported that during the meeting, Gandapur expressed his condolences to families affected by recent earthquakes in Afghanistan’s eastern provinces.
The two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations, promoting people-to-people exchanges, expanding trade and economic cooperation, and addressing issues faced by returning Afghan nationals.
Mawlawi Sardar Ahmad Shakib emphasized mutual respect, sincere understanding, and practical cooperation, while calling for improved facilities for Afghan refugees, students, patients, and travelers at border crossings.
