Mawlawi Bilal Karimi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in Beijing, met with Liu Jinsong, head of the Asian Affairs Department at the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Afghan Embassy in China stated that the two sides discussed strengthening Afghanistan-China relations, enhancing economic and trade cooperation, improving consular services, and other key issues.
Liu Jinsong reaffirmed China’s respect for Afghanistan’s independence and territorial integrity, noting the long-standing cordial and peaceful ties between the two countries. Mawlawi Bilal Karimi expressed gratitude for China’s humanitarian assistance to families affected by the recent earthquake in eastern Afghanistan.
