Former US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad stated that Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, received a warm reception from Indian officials, as well as professors and students at Darul Uloom Deoband.
Khalilzad noted that this welcome has caused displeasure among Pakistan, its allies, and ISIS.
