A technical delegation from the Ministry of Public Health, headed by Mawlawi Abdul Baseer Qanet, Director General of Medicines and Health Products Regulation, has traveled to Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Public Health, the visit focuses on reviewing pharmaceutical and health product manufacturing facilities, assessing production capacities, familiarizing with quality control standards and systems, and exploring mechanisms to facilitate the import of standard medicines to Afghanistan.
The delegation is scheduled to meet with representatives of Uzbek pharmaceutical companies to discuss expanding technical cooperation, strengthening import standards, and ensuring access to quality medicines.
