Ten people are being treated in British hospitals — nine of them with life-threatening injuries — following a stabbing attack on a train traveling from Doncaster to London King’s Cross late Saturday.
Police said two suspects have been arrested after multiple passengers were stabbed during the incident.
According to British Transport Police, counter-terrorism officers are assisting in the investigation as authorities work to determine the motive and full circumstances of the attack.
Eyewitnesses told the BBC that a man with a bloodied arm was seen running through a carriage shouting, “They’ve got a knife,” while another witness reported seeing police use a Taser on a suspect on the platform.
