Cut off the Afghanistan’s trade with Pakistan: Pakistan’s trade has suffered a loss of $4.5 billion
The Pakistani newspaper “Dawn” reported, citing officials from the Afghanistan-Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry, that Pakistan’s trade has suffered a loss of $4.5 billion since the country’s trade routes with Afghanistan were closed.
The chamber’s officials warned that the continuation of this situation will cause a loss of $200 million to Pakistan’s seasonal exports, including cotton and cottonseed.
The report also said that the ban on coal imports from Afghanistan has also increased the production costs of Pakistani industries.
