Mawlawi Sardar Ahmad Shakib, Ambassador of Afghanistan in Islamabad, held a telephone conversation with Sohail Afridi, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, regarding the situation of returning migrants.
During the discussion, the Afghan ambassador called for an increase in mobile registration teams (MRVs), the expedited release of detained migrants, and facilitation of the repatriation process for Afghan migrants.
Meanwhile, Sohail Afridi assured that registration procedures and other issues faced by Afghan migrants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be resolved.
