A meeting on strengthening groundwater resources and ensuring the effective use of water was held under the chairmanship of Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs.
Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, stated that the meeting emphasized the continuation of constructing check dams and water reservoirs, as well as the proper utilization of water aimed at protecting and strengthening groundwater resources.
According to Mr. Fitrat, participants also made necessary decisions regarding the construction of agricultural canals and the implementation of drip irrigation systems for agricultural lands.
