Turkish Ambassador to Kabul Cihad Erginay met with Mullah Mohammad Shirin Akhund, Governor of Kandahar.
According to the Kandahar Governor’s Office, Mullah Mohammad Shirin Akhund emphasized the importance of expanding relations between Afghanistan and Türkiye. He also called for greater Turkish cooperation in areas including healthcare services in Kandahar and remote regions, support for farmers and returning refugees, visa facilitation for Afghan traders, and other sectors.
The Turkish ambassador praised the progress made by the Islamic Emirate and reaffirmed that Türkiye will continue its assistance and cooperation with the people of Afghanistan.
