Afghanistan’s Chargé d’Affaires in Kazakhstan, Mufti Mohammad-ur-Rahman, met with Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Secretary-General Kairat Sarybay to discuss Afghanistan’s permanent membership in the regional organization.
The two sides also discussed Afghanistan’s active participation in CICA meetings and its role in regional cooperation.
Talks further covered support for Afghan farmers through alternative seeds and fertilizers to help curb drug cultivation, as well as short-term training programs for Afghan government employees.
