Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi said Afghanistan is on the path toward an industrial revolution, highlighting the growing role of the country’s industrial sector.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 5th National and International Industry and Mining Week Exhibition, Azizi said the strong participation of industrialists marks an important step toward industrial development.
He added that the government has reduced tariffs on industrial sectors to 1% to support domestic production. He also said around 576 factories were allocated land and received various forms of government support over the past year.
