Herat Governor Shaikh Maulana Islamjar met with Turkish Consul General Tezcan Qazioglu and TIKA Herat Office Head Kurshat Ozdemir to discuss strengthening cooperation between Afghanistan and Turkey.
According to the Herat Provincial Government Media Office, the Turkish delegation highlighted Herat’s historical significance and strategic location, reaffirming Turkey’s commitment to expanding friendly ties and cooperation with the provincial administration.
Governor Islamjar welcomed Turkey’s continued support and called for stronger collaboration in trade, investment, and economic development, as well as greater facilitation of bilateral commerce.
