The Ministry of National Defense announced that the country’s air force has carried out 185 flights over the past three days to evacuate and treat those injured in the devastating earthquake that struck the eastern provinces on Sunday night.
The operations covered routes from Kunar to Nangarhar, and from Nangarhar to Kabul.
According to the ministry, these humanitarian missions enabled the transportation of 2,060 injured individuals along with their companions and medical personnel, as well as 23,100 kilograms of vital medical supplies and food aid.
The Ministry emphasized that the air force remains on high alert, fully committed to saving lives and delivering relief to those most in need.
