The Afghanistan Strategic Studies Center participated in a joint roundtable with the International Institute for Central Asia in Tashkent, held under the title “Afghanistan–Central Asia consultative dialogue: What is the Next Step for Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation?”
According to a statement from the Afghanistan Strategic Studies Center, Afghan and Uzbek experts exchanged views on expanding regional cooperation and strengthening the Afghanistan–Central Asia framework during the meeting.
Dr. Abdul Hai Qanit, Director General of the Center for Strategic Studies, underscored the importance of a pragmatic, economy-focused approach to regional engagement and highlighted the role of expert-level dialogue in shaping future cooperation frameworks.
The statement further noted that participants reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation, enhancing expert exchanges, and advancing joint initiatives aimed at promoting regional stability and connectivity.
