The delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, headed by Shaikh Nida Mohammad Nadeem, met with Alexei Overchuk on the sidelines of the Kazan Forum.
During the meeting, Shaikh Nida Mohammad Nadeem emphasized the importance of continuing and strengthening relations between Afghanistan and Russia, adding that the two countries should further expand their direct trade ties.
Nooruddin Azizi also stressed the continuation of economic and trade relations with Russia. He noted that efforts by certain circles seeking to undermine relations between Afghanistan and Russia should be taken seriously and prevented.
Meanwhile, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk expressed hope for the further development of economic and trade relations with Afghanistan, adding that such meetings can have positive impacts on the economies of both countries.
