Representatives of Afghanistan’s private sector have held talks with their Chinese counterparts on strengthening economic and trade ties.
The Chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, accompanied by a delegation, met with the Chairman of the Hangzhou Chamber of Commerce and Investment in China, according to a statement from the chamber.
During the meeting, both sides discussed expanding trade and economic relations, attracting joint investment, organizing joint exhibitions, and facilitating regular engagements between business communities of the two countries.
The chamber added that a cooperation agreement was signed between the Kandahar Chamber of Commerce and Investment and the Hangzhou Chamber of Commerce and Investment, aimed at boosting trade and encouraging joint investment initiatives.
