The Association of Private Schools of Afghanistan has reported that approximately 500 new private schools have commenced operations across the country since the beginning of this year.
Members of the community and school officials appreciate the support from the Ministry of Education but also highlight the need to address remaining challenges.
The Ministry attributes the rise in private schools to exemptions from fines and taxes, along with improved facilities, and assures that new practices will address outstanding issues.
