Deceased Amir al-Mu’minin, Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid, son of Mawlawi Gholam Nabi, was born in 1339 in the village of Chah Hemat in the Khakriz region of Kandahar province, in a religious and educated family.
Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid’s father moved from the Khakriz district of Kandahar to the Dand district of this province two years after his son’s birth, where he worked as a religious educator for the locals till the end of his life.
Following his father’s passing at the age of five, deceased Amir al-Mu’minin relocated from Kandahar’s Dand district to Uruzgan province’s Dehrawd district, where he began his early years under the tutelage of his uncles.
Education and training:
Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid, deceased Amir al-Mu’minin, was enrolled in a religious primary school at the age of eight.
The aforementioned person completed the primary and secondary religious studies courses at the school with success, and at the age of 18, he commenced his higher education in Afghanistan. However, as a result of the country’s communist government, his higher study ended in 1357.
Jihad combat:
When the communists seized power in Afghanistan in a military coup, deceased Amir al-Mu’minin Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid had not even completed his thirty years of life.
At this time, the country’s religious studies students, including the late Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid, were unable to complete their education since the atheist communists had just engaged in their first confrontation with professors, the Taliban, students, and Muslims.
For this reason, in order to fulfill his shari’a duty, deceased Amir al-Mu’minin, Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid, decided not to pursue further theological instruction and enlist in the Jihadi Front straight out of school.
The aforementioned launched his Jihadi movement from Dehrawd district of Uruzgan province.
He was elevated to the rank of provincial in Uruzgan after a while in this area because to his skill as a jihadist, and he actively participated in a number of military campaigns against the communists in this province.
Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid, deceased Amir al-Mu’minin, engaged in numerous direct conflicts against the Russian occupiers and communists for more than three years alongside the Mujahideen of his home region.
Following his jihadi efforts, he and his jihadi allies persisted in armed jihad against the communists and invaders.
Due to his accomplishments in jihadi operations, as well as his reputation and skill in military tactics, he was given the independent leadership of the jihadi front in Kandahar province by jihadist organizations during that period.
Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid, deceased Amir al-Mu’minin, was wounded four times during direct jihad operations against the Russians, and the last time he lost his right eye.
Standing against corruption and establishing the Islamic Emirate:
After the fall of the communist regime, instead of establishing the Islamic system, the goals of the mujahid people ended; civil conflict has commenced.
The actual mujahideen are either weakened or eliminated from the scene as a result of a regular conspiracy, and some of the former mujahideen who might have taken the communists to court stand by them while some others are looting and attacking the country.
The believing countrymen’s property, lives, and honor were constantly in crisis, arbitrary roadblocks were placed on the roads.
The country’s capitals, both material and spiritual, jihadi symbols, as well as its mines and forests, were all brutally targeted.
In addition to the possibility of losing the rewards of their fourteen years of jihad, the believing people faced threats in their daily life.
In light of this, the true mujahideen launched their mission to eradicate corruption and safeguard the lives and property of Muslims.
The mujahideen began their initial meeting and discussion.
After numerous meetings and consultations, deceased Amir al-Mu’minin Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid and his allies set the foundations for the Islamic movement as well as the struggle against evil and corruption.
Under the leadership of Amirul-Mu’minin, deceased Mullah Muhammad Omar Mujahid, who was enthusiastically welcomed by the people and true Mujahideen, Tehreek-e-Islami commenced its struggle against corruption.
They removed all gunmen from several parts of Afghanistan after first purging the province of Kandahar.
On the 15th of Dhu al-Qadah in 1416 AH, a sizable assembly of Afghan scholars, numbering over 1,500, fulfilled in Kandahar, the Emirate of deceased Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid. At that time, the majority of the country was governed by the Islamic Emirate. They approved and bestowed upon him the title of Amir al-Mu’minin.
Illness and death:
On 24th of april 2013, due to the illness he had suffered, this selfless mujahid and the founder of the Islamic Emirate, Amir al-Mu’minin Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid, said goodbye to the mortal world and eternity attached. This was after a lifetime of jihad, sacrifice, reformation, da’wah, and sacrificed to will and destiny of Allah.
