Two Palestinians, including a child, were martyred and two others wounded by Israeli forces’ fire in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the ministry said a 16-year-old boy was martyred by Israeli gunfire in the town of Qabatiya, southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank. It added that Israeli forces withheld the victim’s body.
A video circulating on social media shows the boy walking before he suddenly came under heavy fire from Israeli soldiers.
The ministry also reported that another Palestinian, aged 22, was martyred by Israeli forces in the town of Silah al-Harithiya, west of Jenin.
According to witnesses, Israeli forces raided the town and deployed across the area.
