Mawlawi Abdul Kabir in a meeting with Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman; Islamic Emirate wants peace and stability in the region

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Political Deputy of the Prime Minister, held a meeting with Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman at the Sapedar Palace. The meeting was attended by members of the Islamic Emirate’s cabinet. During the meeting, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir warmly welcomed Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman and his delegation to Kabul. He expressed hope that their visit would contribute to strengthening relations and reducing misunderstandings between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir expressed gratitude for the support of Afghan refugees and Pakistan’s assistance during the Jihad against the Soviet Union. He emphasized that the Islamic Emirate maintains positive relations with all neighboring countries, particularly the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and seeks a stable relationship based on mutual respect.
He added; The Islamic Emirate assures that there will be no danger or threat to anyone from the territory of Afghanistan and instead of media claims and propaganda, it is better to discuss the facts.
He requested that the mistreatment of Afghan refugees in Pakistan and their forced deportation should be stopped and necessary facilities should be provided to Afghan refugees.
Honorable Mawlawi Abdul Kabir expressed his hope that Maulana Fazal Ur Rahman and the delegation of the Islamic Emirate send a clear message to Islamabad, that the Islamic Emirate wants peace and stability in the region and does not allow anyone to use the soil of Afghanistan against anyone.
Later, the head of the visiting delegation, Maulana Sahib Fazal Ur Rahman, expressed his happiness in coming to Kabul and said that both Islamic countries have commonalities and the problems should be solved through dialogue.
In addition, we should create fields of benefit for each other and cooperate with each other.
He added; we condemn the decision to deport Afghan refugees, these nations have commonalities with each other. Our intention is to use existing relations for the commonality of both countries.
After that, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi welcomed the delegation and gave full information about the economic, political and security situation of Afghanistan.
In this meeting, the leader of Pakistan’s Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Party and other members expressed their happiness in coming to Kabul and emphasized on the restoration of relations between the two countries and the resolution of problems.
