His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held a meeting yesterday with a number of scholars and elders from Gurziwan District of Faryab Province.
During the meeting, the parties initially discussed the social and economic challenges facing the district and expressed their appreciation for the efforts and sacrifices made by the Mujahideen and officials of the Islamic Emirate in delivering public services and ensuring the security of the population.
They also communicated the people’s requests concerning education, healthcare, and development priorities, including the construction of roads and water dams.
In response, His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi welcomed the delegation of scholars and elders from Gurziwan District and affirmed that maintaining security and providing public services remain fundamental responsibilities of the Islamic Emirate.
Addressing the delegation’s concerns, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs emphasized that the issues raised such as road and dam construction are of particular importance for national development and prosperity, and stated that the Islamic Emirate would undertake the necessary measures in these areas to the extent possible.
