The Prime Minister of Iraq, Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, has once again insisted on the early withdrawal of the US-led coalition forces from this country.
He said that his country is looking for the withdrawal of US-led international forces from Iraq.
In an interview with Reuters, Mr. Al-Sudani stressed that the presence of these forces in Iraq will lead to the instability of Iraq in the context of the regional crisis.
Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani told Reuters: “It is necessary to restore our relations, so that no internal or external party is left with an excuse to destabilize Iraq and the region.”
According to him; The withdrawal schedule of the US-led international forces should be determined based on negotiations and understanding.
The Prime Minister of Iraq said: “We do not want the termination of this agreement to mean the expulsion of the American forces, but we want this process to be carried out through understanding and negotiation in such a way that the American forces will leave in a very natural way.”
Also, last Friday, the Prime Minister of Iraq announced the formation of a committee to permanently end the US military presence in the country.
