Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, held a telephone conversation with Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, to discuss bilateral relations and the latest regional developments.
According to Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides also discussed continuing diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at reducing tensions and strengthening security and stability in the region.
The ministry added that Qatar’s Prime Minister called for the implementation of the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran, including guaranteeing freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
