Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Friday, 12/23/1446, corresponding to 30/3/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different routes in the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

105 families returned to the country through Torkham and 470 members of these families were registered and biometrically scanned.

Transporations committee

12 families with 73 members have been safely transported to different provinces from Torkham and (47400) Afghanis have been provided to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (714,000) Afghanis have been provided to 86 families by the Financial management Committee.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were provided with useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 347 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, were distributed to the returning refugees.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

79 families with 439 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transportation committee

58 families with 252 members have been safely transported to different provinces from Spin Boldak and these families have also been paid (290,700) Afghanis as rent.

Financial management Committee

A total of (680,000) Afghanis have been provided to 79 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 590 meals and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Health: 265 returning refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 77 SIM cards have been distributed to the returning refugees by the Telecommunication Services Authority, free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

231 families with 1138 members from Nimroz province have returned to the country and registered, and 72 passengers have also returned to the country.

Transportation committee

4 families with 20 members from Nimroz have been safely transported to different provinces and (35,000) fares have been paid.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1860,000) Afghanis have been provided to 221 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Communications: 231 SIM cards were distributed to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way.

Health: 823 migrants returning from the Abrishom way were treated.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Paktika

Angoor Ada (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

6 families with 37 members have returned to the country and registered through Paktika Angoor Ada.

Transportation committee

2 families with 17 members from Angor Ada have been safely transported to their districts and (800) Afghanis have been paid as rent.

Financial management Committee

A total of (60,000) Afghanis has been provided to 6 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the refugees returning to Paktika Angoor Ada:

Food: 76 meals and water were distributed at Angoor Ada.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Paktika’s Angoor Ada. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Helmand

Bahramcha (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

11 families with 68 members have returned to the country and registered through Bahramcha.

Transporations committee

11 families with 68 members from Bahramcha, Helmand have been safely transported to the center and districts, and these families have also been paid (66,000 Afghanis) as rent.

Financial management Committee

A total of (56,000) Afghanis have been provided to 6 families by the Financial management Committee.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Islam Qala, 815 families with 3312 members have returned to the country and registered.

Financial management Committee

A total of (6,158,000) Afghanis have been provided to 780 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transporations committee

81 families with 436 members have been safely transported from Kabul to different provinces and (251,400) Afghanis have been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (1247) families and (5464) individuals

Transferred refugees: (168) families and (866) individuals

Assisted refugees: (1178) families

SIM cards distributed: (655) units
