Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Monday, 15/9/1445, which coincides with 6/1/1403, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided with necessary services in different areas.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

12 families returned to the country through Torkham and 77 members of these families were registered and biometriced.

Transportation committee

1 family from Torkham, whose number of members was 7 people, was safely sent to Nangarhar and this family was given (5000 Afghani) rent.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today, 4 families have been settled in a temporary agreement camp in Torkham’s Omari camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health are provided to returning refugees in Torkham Omari Camp:

Communications: 30-digit SIM cards have been distributed to the returnees, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Employment Committee

In Torkham, the Employment Committee has registered 1 bachelor’s degree holder, 6 poor worker and 1 professional person, making a total of 8 people.

The said committee has given public awareness about explosives, cleanliness, child protection and Afghanistan to 91 children in Torkham and games and entertainment programs have also been provided to these children for the purpose of mental health.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

In Torkham, as in the past, public awareness was given to the refugees.

These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transportation, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

21 families with 120 members have returned to the country and been registered through Spin Boldak.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (202,000 Afghanis) was given to 21 families in the camps by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

Food: Today, 169 refugees were given food and clean water in Spin Boldak.

Health: 30 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Also 82 refugees have been given public awareness in different areas of health.

Clothing: Tents, blankets and blankets have been distributed to refugees in short-term camps as needed.

Communications: The Telecommunications Services Agency has distributed 119 sim cards to the returned refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Employment Committee

The employment committee has registered 3 Bilkoria certificate holders, 1 Memorizer, 47 poor workers and 22 professional and people, making a total of 73 people in Spin Boldak.

This committee has given 45 children in Spin Boldak public awareness about explosives, cleanliness, child protection and Afghanistan, and games and fun programs have been provided to these children for the purpose of mental health.

Paktika

Angoor Ada way (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

1 family, whose number of members is 9 people, has been returned to the country and registered through Angoor Ada of Paktika province.

Transportation committee

1 family from Angoor Ada has been safely transported to their area.

Finance Management Committee

10,000 Afghanis was given to the family by the Financial Affairs Committee.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health were provided to the returning refugees in Angoor Ada:

Food: 18 meals and clean water have been distributed to the refugees in Angoor Ada and khorna.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the refugees on the way to Angoor Ada:

The returning refugees were given information about the future of children and the education system, and also the heads of the families of the refugees were given information about their regions, religion and country.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

57 families with 192 members have returned to the country through the silk route of Nimroz province and have been registered and also 1253 travelers have come to the country.

Finance Management Committee

The Finance Committee has donated 10,000 Afghanis to 9 families with 33 members, totaling 90,000 Afghanis.

Temporary agreement Committee

In Nimroz 51 families with 143 members have been placed in a temporary agreement camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

In Nimroz, the following different services including health were provided to the returning refugees.

Communications: 57 SIM cards have been distributed to the returned refugees, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroz Province:

These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transportation, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, Confirmation and Reception Committee

38 families with 83 members have returned to the country and been registered through Islam Qala.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 19 families have been placed in a temporary agreement camp in Islam Qala of Herat.

Finance Management Committee

(326,000 Afghanis) was given to 45 returned families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (128) families (481) individuals

Transported Migrants: (2) Families (16) Individuals

Assisted migrants: (76) families

Temporarily settled migrants: (74) families

Split SIM cards: (206 digits
