Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants


Daily Work Report of Committees
On Wednesday, 17/8/1445, which coincides with 9/12/1402, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and were provided necessary services in different areas. Full report It is presented as follows:

Nangarhar 


Torkham (Durand Line)
Registration, Confirmation, and Receiving Committee
38 families returned to the country through Torkham, and 88 members of these families have been registered and biometric.
Transportation committee 
20 families from Torkham with 85 members have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Laghman, and Kabul, and 49,000 Afghanis have been paid to these families.
Finance Management Committee
44 families have been helped by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee, with a total of 44,000 Afghanis.
Temporary Agreement Committee
In Torkham, 13 families have been placed in a short-term agreement camp.
Committee on Services and Health Affairs
The following different services, including health, are provided to returning refugees in Torkham Omari Camp: Food: 730 meals and 19,000 liters of clean water have been distributed in Torkham camps. Health: 692 refugees have been treated in Torkham. Food items and clothes: The following food items and clothes were distributed to the returned refugees in Torkham: Blankets, floors, gas stoves, 33 packages of raw food items, and other various things have been distributed. Communications: 127-digit SIM cards have been distributed to the returnees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.
Employment Committee
In Torkham, the Employment Committee has registered 2 bachelor’s degree holders, 1 memorizer, 22 poor workers, and 19 professionals and people, for a total of 44 people. The said committee also gave public awareness about explosives, cleanliness, child protection, and Afghanistan to 374 children in Torkham, and games and fun programs were also provided to these children for the purpose of mental health.
Committee on Information and Public Awareness
In Torkham, as in the past, public awareness was given to the refugees: These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transportation, financial assistance, short-term agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education, and training. In the same way, awareness has been given to the refugees in different areas by the Promoting Virtue and Preventing Evil Department of Nangarhar Province. Also, this committee has distributed 10 immigration forms to the refugees in coordination with the IOM  office.

Kandahar 


Spin Boldak (Durand Line)
Registration, Confirmation, and Receiving Committee
Through Spin Boldak, 15 families with 82 members have returned to the country and have been registered.
Transportation committee 
Three families from Spin Boldak, whose number of members was 25, have been safely transported to Kabul, and these families have been given 12,000 Afghan rent.
Finance Management Committee
10,000 Afghanis have been given to 15 families by the Financial Affairs Committee, which is 150,000 Afghanis in total.
Temporary Agreement Committee
In Spin Boldak, 14 families have been placed in a short-term agreement camp.
Committee on Services and Health Affairs
The following different services, including health, are provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak: Food: 150 meals and clean water have been distributed in Spin Boldak. Health: 149 returnees have been treated in Spin Boldak. Also, 369 refugees have been given public awareness in different areas of health. Clothing: In short-term camps, tents and blankets have been distributed to refugees as needed. Communication: The Department of Communication Services has distributed 50 SIM cards to the returned refugees free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.
Employment Committee
The employment committee has registered 1 baccalaureate degree holder, 3 religious scholars, 44 poor workers, and 13 professionals and persons, making a total of 61 persons in Spin Boldak. The said committee also gave public awareness about explosives, cleanliness, child protection, and Afghanistan to 42 children in Spin Boldak.

Paktika


Angoor Ada Way 
Accreditation, Registration, and Receiving Committee
Two families have returned to the country and registered through the Angoor Ada.
Finance Management Committee
10,000 Afghanis have been donated to two families by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.
Transportation committee 
Two families have been safely transferred from Angoor Ada to their areas and villages.
Committee on Services and Health Affairs
The following different services, including health, were provided to the returning refugees at Angoor Ada: Food: 31 foods and clean water have been distributed in Angoor Ada and Kharan.
Committee on Information and Public Awareness
Public awareness was given to the refugees on the way to Angoor Ada: The refugees were given useful information about their registration, transportation, financial assistance, short-term agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education, and training.

Nimroze 


Abrishom way 
Accreditation, Registration, and Receiving Committee
87 families with a total of 331 members have returned to the country through the Abrishom Way of Nimroz Province and have been registered, and also 2460 travelers have returned to the country.
Finance Management Committee
10,000 Afghanis have been given to 34 families by the Financial Affairs Committee, which is 34,000 Afghanis in total.
Temporary Agreement Committee
In Nimroz, 82 families have been placed in a short-term agreement camp.
Committee on Services and Health Affairs
In Nimroz, the returning refugees were provided with the following services, including health: Health: 301 refugees have been treated in Nimroz. Communications: The Telecommunications Services Agency has distributed 87 SIM cards to the returned refugees free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.
Committee on Information and Public Awareness
Public awareness was given to 331 refugees on the Abrishom Way in Nimroz Province: These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transportation, financial assistance, short-term agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education, and training.

Herat


Islam Qala 
Accreditation, Registration, and Receiving Committee
67 families returned to the country through Islam Qala, and 154 members of these families have been registered and biometrically.
Finance Management Committee
55 families were given cash assistance of 10,000 Afghanis by the Financial Affairs Committee, which is 555,000,000 Afghanis in total.
Committee on Services and Health Affairs
In Herat, returning refugees are provided with the following services, including health: Health: 200 refugees have been treated in Herat.
Temporary Agreement Committee
In Herat, 80 families have been placed in a short-term agreement camp.

Kabul


Transportation committee 
From Kabul, 10 families, whose number of members was 85, have been safely transported to Paktia, Kunduz, Takhar, and Mazar-e-Sharif, and the total cost of transport has been 40,500 Afghanis.
The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:
