A high-level Uzbek delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojayev was welcomed at the Presidential Palace by Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi, Director General of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
According to Deputy Spokesperson Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, the delegation will hold separate meetings with Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, and several cabinet ministers to discuss expanding political, economic, trade, investment, and transit cooperation between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
