United Nations Calls for Accountability Over Attack on Drug Treatment Hospital in Kabul

The United Nations has called for an immediate investigation into the attack carried out by the Pakistani military regime on a 2,000-bed drug treatment hospital in Kabul.

Thameen Al-Kheetan, UN Human Rights spokesperson, emphasized during a press briefing that those responsible for the attack must be held accountable in accordance with international standards.

On Monday night, the Pakistani military regime bombed the 2,000-bed drug treatment hospital in Kabul, in what was described as an un-Islamic and inhumane act.

According to preliminary reports, approximately 400 people were martyred and 250 others were injured in the bombing.
