The Ministry of Water and Energy has issued a warning regarding potential flooding and inundation of sea areas in the country from March 5 to 7. The ministry attributes the risk to rainfall and melting snow, leading to rising water levels in the seas of Harirud and Helmand, particularly in areas such as Kushk, Kashan, Badghis, Herat, Farah, Khashrud, Helmand, Arghandab, and Trenk. Citizens residing near these seas are urged to refrain from approaching the water to ensure their safety and that of their children, thereby mitigating potential loss of life and property.
