Plans to establish a waste-to-energy plant in Kabul were discussed during a regular meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office for Economic Affairs, the meeting also reviewed proposals to construct a commercial market in Kabul’s first district and to gradually assemble and manufacture tractors and agricultural machinery in Kandahar, Herat, and Balkh provinces.
The office stated that, following discussions, the proposals were referred to the relevant departments for technical and economic assessment.
