Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, Mawlawi Attaullah Omari, during a visit to Nangarhar province leading a high-level delegation, attended and addressed a large public gathering that included local officials and residents from the eastern provinces.
In his remarks, Minister Omari highlighted the vital importance of protecting and restoring the country’s forests, noting that the ministry is committed to utilizing all available resources for this purpose.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the meeting concluded with a decision to appoint dedicated forest guards and officers in forested areas to ensure more effective protection and management of the nation’s forests.
