Mujib-ur-Rahman Omar Akhundzada, Deputy Minister for Water at the Ministry of Water and Energy, held talks with Gaziz Akbasov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kabul, on enhancing bilateral cooperation, with a particular focus on the water and energy sectors.
During the meeting, Mr. Akhundzada highlighted the importance of regional collaboration in water resource management and sustainable energy development, expressing Afghanistan’s readiness to effectively utilize existing capacities.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan reaffirmed his country’s interest in investing in Afghanistan’s water and energy projects and underscored that scientific and technical cooperation between the two countries will continue.
