Cricket; The Afghan national team is playing a three-match series against Sri Lanka and Ireland

“The Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced that the Afghan national team will be traveling to Sri Lanka in February of this year for one test, three ODIs, and three T20Is. Additionally, from the 28th of February to the 18th of March, they will be hosting the Irish team for one test, three ODIs, and three T20Is. This will be the first time that the Afghanistan national cricket team will be playing a long three-form cricket match against Sri Lanka. The Afghanistan Cricket Board stated, ‘This tournament has been arranged in coordination with the Sri Lankan Cricket Board and the leadership of the Afghan Cricket Board. According to the plan, the Test match will be played from February 2nd to 6th at the Sinhalese Stadium in Colombo, and the ODIs will take place on the 9th, 11th, and 14th of this month at Pramadasa Stadium in Colombo. Additionally, three international T20 matches will be held on February 17th, 19th, and 21st at Dambulla International Stadium. After the tour to Sri Lanka, the Afghan national cricket team will host the Irish team in the United Arab Emirates at the end of February. The matches will be held at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, with three one-day international matches scheduled for March 7th, 9th, and 12th, and three international Twenty20 matches on March 15th, 17th, and 18th at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.”
