Amnesty International says the reported bombing of the Omid drug treatment center in eastern Kabul by Pakistani warplanes raises serious concerns under international humanitarian law.
Isabelle Lacy noted that although the exact martyr toll is not yet confirmed, the attack has reportedly caused hundreds of civilian casualties.
Amnesty is calling on Pakistani authorities to explain the basis of the strike and to launch an independent, impartial investigation, with findings made public to ensure accountability.
