Secretariat of the High Commission to address the Problems of migrants

Daily Work Report of the Committees

On Saturday, 27/3/1447, corresponding to 29/6/1404, Afghan refugees were forcibly returned from different parts of the country and necessary services were provided to them in different areas.

The full report is presented as follows:

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

133 families with 763 members returned to the country and were registered through Islam Qala.

Financial management Committee

A total of (970,000) Afghanis were provided to 131 families by the Financial management Committee.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

14 families with 66 members from the Abrishom way of Nimroze province have returned to the country and registered, and 425 passengers have also returned to the country.

Transporations committee

10 families with 52 members from Nimroz have been safely transported to Farah, Helmand, Herat and Kabul, and (85,000) rent has been paid.

Financial management Committee

A total of (96,000) Afghanis have been provided to 11 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following services, including health, were provided to the migrants returning from the Abrishom way of Nimroze:

Health: 251 migrants returning from the Silk Road were treated.

Communications: 14 SIM cards were distributed to the migrants on the Abrishom way.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroze province. These migrants were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, migration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

156 families with 857 members have returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.

Transporations committee

80 families with 476 members from Spin Boldak have been safely transported to Herat, Gharani, Kandahar, Zabul, Helmand and Kabul, and these families have also been paid (442,900) Afghanis as rent.

Financial management Committee

A total of (1,284,000) Afghanis have been provided to 157 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 2054 food parcels, bread and water have been distributed in Spin Boldak.

Communications: 173 SIM cards have been distributed to the refugees in Takhta Pul camp.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

810 families have returned to the country through Torkham and 5670 members of these families have been registered and biometrically scanned.

Transporations committee

603 families with 3177 members from Torkham have been safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kabul, and (1694600) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

Financial management Committee

A total of (6026000) Afghanis have been provided to 733 families by the Financial management Committee.

Services and Health Affairs Committee

The following different services, including health, have been provided to the returning refugees at the Torkham Camp:

Communications: 811 SIM cards, including free minutes and internet packages, have been distributed to the returning refugees.

Information and Public Awareness Committee

Public awareness was provided to the refugees in Torkham. These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transfer, financial assistance, temporary agreement, and also about the country, the Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Helmand

Bahramcha (Durand Line)

Registration, confirmation and Receiving Committee

90 families with 448 members have returned to the country and registered through Bahramcha.

Transpotations committee

49 families with 246 members from Bahramcha, Helmand have been safely transferred to Lashkar Gah, Khanshin, Benadir, Disho and Garmsir, and these families have also been paid (348,000) Afghani as rent.

Financial management Committee

A total of (814,000) Afghanis have been provided to 92 families by the Financial management Committee.

Kabul

Center

Transportations committee

205 families with 1,079 members from Kabul have been safely transported to Samangan, Kunduz, Balkh, Khost, Baghlan, Jawzjan, Daikundi, Takhar, Kapisa, Ghazni and Paktika, and (781,710) Afghanis have also been paid as rent to these families.

The total figures for the different activities of all committees are as follows:

Registered refugees: (1203) families and (7804) individuals

Refugees transferred: (947) families and (5030) individuals

Refugees assisted: (1124) families

SIM cards distributed: (998)
