The Daily Report of the Committees

The returning of Afghan refugees into their country through numerous Zero Points are taking place, the committees Staff are trying their level best to help & assist the refugees. Below is the conclusive report of the committees officially appointed to accommodate the returnees.

The list & figures of Afghan Returnees who entered from different Zero Points.

The Number of registered Returnees: 78 families with 249 associates.
The Number of Transported Returnees: 5 families with 39 associates.
The primary assistance & help with Returnees: 34 families.
The Number of Temporary Settled Returnees: 83
The Number of Examined & Treated Returnees: 157
The total Number of Distributed Mobile SIM Cards: 229

Nangarhar:

Durand Line (Torkham):

The Committee of Registration, Confirmation & Reception:

The returning 44 families with 98 associates are bio metric & registered.

The Transport Committee:

The returning 3 families with 21 associates are safely transported to Nangarhar province with 4,500 AFN as their rent payment.

The Temporary Settlement Committee:

The returning 15 families are given temporary shelters with all basic necessities of livelihood.

The Committee of Health affairs & Services:

The 650 returnees are given Meals & purified Water in Zero Point Camps, along with 45,000 liters of purified water, Blankets, Carpets, winter Heaters with 35 Packages of raw material are also distributed. The refugees also obtained 130 SIM Cards with free minutes and internet.

The Committee for Job opportunities:

The committee’s staff located 8 High school graduates, 2 graduated from A+ School system, 1 Religious scholar, 30 with Minor skills and 21 with professional skills are witnessed, the basic information to 307 Children about Land mines, personal hygiene and Kids safeguard were also given.

The Committee for Information and Public Awareness:

The returning refugees are given information regarding Public Awareness Programs. The returnees are also requested to remain nonviolent and preserve tranquility, in addition, 23 Refugees status papers are distributed with the ultimate of IOM organization.

Kandahar:

Spin Boldak:

The Committee of Registration, Confirmation & Reception:

The returning 25 families with 121 associates along with 15 Prisoners in Pakistan through Boldak route are registered.

The Transport Committee:

The returning 2 families with 15 associates are safely transported to Kandahar province with 2000 AFN as rent payment.

The Committee for Financial Procedures:

The returning 25 families obtained 250,000 AFN each.

The Temporary Settlement Committee:

The returning 10 families are given temporary accommodations with all necessary requirements of livelihood.

The Committee of Health affairs & Services:

Food: The 350 returning refugees are given Meals.
Medical: 320 individuals are examined and treated, in addition, Blankets and Tents are also distributed.
Technology: The refugees obtained 90 SIM Cards with free minutes & internet.

The Committee for Job opportunities:

The Committee’s Staff located 1 High school graduate, 2 Memorizers of the Holy Quran, 24 individuals with Minor skills & 18 with Professional skills are witnessed, in addition, basic information regarding Landmines, Personal Hygiene, Child protection and general information regarding Afghanistan’s Culture, People & Climate is given to the 35 Kids.

Paktika Province:

Angor Ada Zero Point:

The Committee for Health Affairs and Services:

The returning 26 individuals with refugee’s status are given Foods with Medical facilities.

The Committee for Information & Public Awareness:

The returning refugees are given information regarding Public Awareness Programs. The returnees are also requested to remain nonviolent and preserve tranquility.

Nimruz Province:

The Committee of Registration, Confirmation & Reception:

The returning 9 families with 30 associates and others 1,028 individuals with deportees’ status are registered.

The Committee for Financial Procedures:

The returning 9 families obtained 90,000 AFN as their rent payment.

The Committee for Health Affairs and Services:

The returning individuals with refugee’s status are given Foods, Medical facilities and 9 SIM Cards with free minutes and internet.

The Committee for Information & Public Awareness:

The returning 30 refugees are given information regarding Public Awareness Programs. The returnees are also requested to remain nonviolent and preserve tranquility.

Herat Province:

Islam Qala Zero Point:

The Committee for Financial Procedures:

The returning 1 family is given 10,000 AFN as rent payment.

The Temporary Settlement Committee:

The returning 2 families are given temporary accommodations with basic requirements of living.
